Early Identification of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Training Program for K-12 Schools
Free training on CSEC indicators and identification, culturally competent and trauma-informed care, protocols for reporting and intervention, and ways to partner with community-based organizations and resources.
Strategies to integrate CSEC prevention education into existing learning concepts, including a curriculum guide for CSEC prevention education in all grade levels K-12.
Content is aligned with Social Emotional Learning, Health Education Content Standards, California Healthy Youth Act (AB 329), and Human Trafficking Prevention Education and Training Act (AB 1227).

WEAVE served as primary writers and content experts for the 2019 revision of the California Health Education Framework, and developed the Early Identification of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Training Program funded by CalOES.

WEAVE provides curriculum guidance, instructional strategies, and learning activities for K-12 prevention education. Training and prevention work spans all ages from early childhood to older adults.
WEAVE's mission is to promote safe and healthy relationships and support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking. WEAVE was founded in 1978 and is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors in Sacramento County.
